Our original name was The ABA Therapist Network, and we have been in operation since October 2005 doing in-home ABA and shadowing services. To date, we are one of the largest in-home ABA providers in Houston, and in December 2007 we opened our new Learning Center. The Learning Center prides itself on being up to date in regard to technology and what’s new in the field.
Our Director- Michael Conteh M.Ed, BCBA
Michael Conteh has been working with special needs children doing in-home and clinical work for over 10 years. He spent a year as a staff member at a residential facility working with children and young adults with severe emotional and behavior problems. During his career, he has had the opportunity to work with kids from 18 months to 22 years old, covering most children on the Autism Spectrum (including Asperger Syndrome and ADD/ADHD). Michael prides himself on personally training his staff so that they have the same motivation and drive he possesses. He spends countless hours with each staff member to ensure that your child receives the best therapy possible. Consultants are great, but if they are not in close contact with the staff, then the efficiency is gone. Michael also speaks about ABA and behavior modification at resource fairs and parent-lead organizations from time to time, such as:
- Katy ISD resource fair
- Fort Bend ISD resource fair
- Family to Family Network - Katy
- Autism Society of America - Houston Chapter
- Autism Society of America - Tomball Chapter
Michael’s precise, practical examples during these talks send home a positive message, while having fun.
